AI Video Creators & Artists
About Zero Takes
Zero Takes is a high-end AI production studio creating "impossibly real" short-form entertainment. We produce episodic, cinematic vertical content using state-of-the-art generative video models. We move fast, hold a high visual bar, and treat AI video creation as filmmaking.
The Role
We're hiring AI Video Creators and Artists with deep expertise in Seedance to work alongside our creative team taking scripts from page to screen. You'll receive scripts, beat sheets, and reference art, and be responsible for translating them into finished, high-quality shots and scenes that cut together into episodes.
This is hands-on, shot-level craft work: working with prompts, iterating generations, maintaining continuity across an episode, and delivering footage that meets our high standards.
What You'll Do
- Generate scenes in Seedance using multimodal references, including character sheets, location and environment references, prop references, and style frames, to maintain visual continuity across episodes
- Direct performance through prompting: scene blocking, acting beats, line delivery, emotional tone
- Control cinematography deliberately: camera position, lens feel, movement, shot sequencing, and coverage
- Iterate on generations to hit quality targets, and flag shots that need prompt or reference level fixes
- Collaborate with our team on pipeline conventions, prompt formats, and continuity systems
- Hit episode delivery schedules in a fast-moving production environment
Must-Have Experience
- Proven, demonstrable experience generating high-quality video with Seedance (2.0 preferred); experience with other frontier models (Veo, Kling, Sora, etc.) is a plus
- Strong command of reference-based workflows: image and video references for characters, locations, wardrobe, and style. Knowing when to solve a problem in the reference vs. the prompt
- Ability to manipulate camera and shot language through prompting: framing, angles, movement, transitions, and multi-shot sequences
- A working understanding of film grammar, including shot types, coverage, screen direction, and pacing, and how to express it in prompts
- An eye for what “good” looks like: physical accuracy, natural performance, consistent characters, and footage that doesn't read as AI slop
- Self-directed, deadline-reliable, and comfortable with iterative feedback and revisions
Nice to Have
- Experience with vertical/short-form or microdrama content
- Familiarity with image-generation pipelines for creating reference assets
Compensation
$25-$50/hr DOE. This is a contract position.
